Five Card Stud Poker: The Rules
|
If you know how to play poker, you’re well on your way to mastering the game of
five card stud poker. The basic rules apply. This game is a two to ten player
game that is easy to follow. A dealer hands each player one card, face down.
This is the “hole” card. Then he deals each player a face up card. He then
places the deck face down on the table. The hole is the only card that remains
unknown to other players. The player with the best first card makes the opening
bet. The person on the left can fold, stay, raise, or re-raise. When the
process is completed, the dealer gives each player another face-up card.
