Pass/Don't Pass Line Craps Playing Strategy
This craps playing strategy is great for the beginning craps
player. With this strategy you need to start out with a
minimum bet of $5 or less on the pass line. Once the shooter
rolls a point (4,5,6,8,9,10), then place a bet directly behind the bet on
the pass line. You should place the maximum allowed on this bet
because you get "odds" on the bet. "Odds" mean that you get a little
more money if you win. This little bit of money can add up to a lot
of money when playing craps for a long time. In fact, you can cut down
the casino edge to 0.471% with 3X odds(That's 3 times the pass line bet).
Then, you want the shooter to roll the number that is "on". You will see a
little white puck that has the words "on". This is the number that
the shooter is on. You want the shooter to roll the "on" number before
a seven is rolled. When this happens you will win your first bet plus
you will win your odds bet.
If you choose, you may play the "Don't Pass Line" instead of the "Pass Line"
The "Don't Pass Line" is the exact opposite of the "Pass Line" when playing craps.
With this craps playing strategy you want a seven to be rolled before the "on" number.
You should also place the maximum amount of odds on this bet also.
Cover All Numbers Craps Playing Strategy
With this craps playing strategy you are betting on the shooter not rolling a
seven. Here's how to do it: After the shooter is "on" a number (The white puck is
flipped over and says "on") place a bet on 5, 6, and 8 ($5 bets). Then, place a field bet (shown
below). This way you are covering 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12. You have covered all numbers
except 7. Be sure to take your bets off when you feel the shooter is going to roll
a seven. This is a great craps playing strategy when the shooter is hot.
Hedging Craps Playing Strategy
Here is a craps playing strategy for persons that want to play craps
for hours. You will not lose a lot, but you will not win a lot either.
Here's how to play this craps playing strategy:
- Bet the Pass line and Don't pass line ($5 bets)
- Wait until a number is "on" (4,5,6,8,9,10). Get a free drink if playing a land casino :)
- Use your gut and pick a side. Place a bet on the pass line odds if you feel the shooter will keep rolling.
Or place a bet on the don't pass line odds if you think a seven is coming. This craps playing strategy
gives you the ability to switch sides at any point in the craps game (you can move your odds bet from the
pass line odds to the don't pass line odds and vice-versa).
